Washi Tape

The Butterfly Challenge this month is 'Butterflies + W is for Washi Tape'.  Although I've got several reels of washi tape in my stash, I've never been sure what to do with it, so this is a first for me!
I decided on a CAS card in black, white and red.  The butterfly is a Memory Box 'Pippi Butterfly' die cut, cut from a snippet of red card.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  1. Hi, Liz! Congratulations on using your washi tape for the first time! I like that you chose black and white for the tape and added the pop of red for the butterfly and sentiment. One of my favourite colour combos! Nicely done! So happy to see you over at the Butterfly Challenge!

  4. You can't go wrong with this colour combination. I love the washi tapes you have selected to use and like the negative positive appeal of the dotty ones. Thankyou for fluttering by. Hugs Mrs A.

  8. Hi Liz,
what a great card for the butterfly challenge.
Really like what you have done with the washi tape.
I am struggling with this as I don't have any washi tape.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  12. This black and white dfferently patterned washi tape works wonderfully with the red butterfly Liz which gives that pop of colour. I must admit that I have never tried washi tape so can't join in the challenge this time but this is just perfect. x
