Blooming Poppy

This is my second post today and I hope I have better luck making this post live!  Did anyone else have problems with blogger earlier today?  I made the post live, hitting the 'Publish' button, and nothing happened.  I tried it again and still nothing happened, no sign of a live post..... then some time later suddenly it appeared.  Very strange!  I made this card with several challenges in mind.

For this card I used the lovely MB 'Blooming Poppy' die and a butterfly comes as part of the die.  I first used the die in white and then in pale green.  I snipped the green butterfly off the die cut and attached it over the white butterfly.  The scalloped edge is one of the MB 'Stitched Country Border' dies.  I added a pale yellow Nuvo Crystal Drop in each of the scallops.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  2. Very delicate looking card, I love that poppy die, lovely subtle colours too.
My post this Morning was scheduled and it worked so I had no problems.
But , one thing that I am experiencing is that when I went into my blog, it just opened up but the past few days I have to sign in, what's that about, why do things have to be changed, especially for the worst.

  4. Super card Liz - another one of your trademark classy styles. Yup, I had issues earlier with Blogger - didn't want to play whenever I was editing the Playground post - I think I lost ten years off my life! xx

    1. It's so frustrating when Blogger starts doing strange things. My new posts appear in my Reading List (somehow I've managed to follow myself), but the last post didn't appear at all, even when the post eventually decided to go live. xx

  6. Oh, this card is so delicate and sweet, and very elegant too! Love the poppies silouettes and the scallop border looks amazing with the drops!!
I haven't problems with blogger (for now... cross my fingers!), but I haven't time to post, so really I hadn't tried!!
Perhaps you could clean the cache of your browser... hope it helps

  8. Hi Liz

A really lovely card. You have some beautiful dies and use them really well. Gorgeous colour choices too.

Many thanks for your lovely words about my son's music. That was really kind of you.

I hope Mr Blogger is behaving himself now for you. I have sadly been missing quite a lot from blogland recently. The wedding orders have taken over my life at the moment and my blog has taken a back seat for the time being.

Enjoy your bank holiday weekend and thanks again.

    Love Jules xx
