Congratulations Twoo-hoo!

The Less is More Challenge this week is a colour challenge - Use Three Pastel Colours.

I needed to make a congratulations card today, so I decided on three pastel colours.  The Woodware stamp is one of my favourite owl stamps, which I've had for ages.  I stamped it using Memento 'Tuxedo Black' and coloured the owl with Promarkers.  The wings are attached with foam pads to add some dimension.  To keep the theme of the stitched pattern on the image, I used a MB 'Stitched Rectangle' die to die cut the image.  The sentiment is a Die'sire die cut.  Three punched feathers, using a new Fiskars punch I bought on a recent holiday, (as a bargain buy!), finished off my card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. I can see why that's your favorite owl image, Liz! She is just adorable in these pastel colors which really set off those long eyelashes! Great feather punch, too! Tell the truth: how many suitcases did you start your trip with and how many did you come home with?! Good for you to get a lot of shopping in and find some bargains in the bargain! Thanks so much for joining in my NBUS Challenge #11 again! Hugs, Darnell

(PS Heavens, I think next year I'll not combine the Boo Boo Hop and the NBUS Challenge ~ just look at the ridiculous length of that name!!)

    1. Took two very large suitcase and came home with two......although I made sure they weren't full when we went. 😉 Almost went over the weight limit coming home though. I bought a few more large punches in New Zealand, which were quite heavy, but with 60% off, how could I resist? xx
