Red, white and blue

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
TO ALL MY AMERICAN FRIENDS!

Welcome to my two new followers, Loll of Stamping with Loll and Faith of Daffodil Cards.  Please pop over to their blogs to see their beautiful creations.

Two red, white and blue CAS cards today.
The corner die cut was made with one of the MB 'Distressed Baptista Collage' dies in a piece of royal blue hammer card.  I backed the die cut with red card before attaching it to the card blank.  I used the die again with white card to make the card below and used the waste to inlay circles/part circles randomly in some of the apertures on this card.  I put a tiny dot of glue where I wanted the white pieces to go and then just popped them in.

This is my second card of a similar design. (Oops, just noticed the shadow of the camera on the bottom of the card!)

Two wonderful cards Liz and I love the way you have used some of the waste from the white more toned down card on the blue one, which is so beautifully bright. x

Wonderful cards, Liz. I love the negative/positive die technique. Such a great way to not only get 2 cards, but also use every little bit of your supplies. Great design too. Thank you for joining us this week at Less is More.

What a fun CAS design here on both cards! I love the touch of white in the first card which really pulls everything together beautifully, and the 2nd card reminds me of confetti! Great design!

Both of these are very patriotic (for multiple countries, actually), but this Red/White/Blue color combination works year-round! Thank you for sharing with us at SOS this week!

Wow! You've knocked my socks off with these two beauties Liz! They are sensational in the simplicity of the design and use so much gorgeously CAS 'white space' too. Ingenious use of that die - Such a clever lady! Thank you so much for sharing these with us at Less is More xx
