Happy Halloween

I hope all my blogging friends in the UK remembered to put their clocks back last night and made the most of the extra hour in bed.

Another Halloween card today.

The pumpkin is from the Obsession Impression 'Halloween Set' of dies. The pumpkin was layered on die cuts using Memory Box 'Postage Rectangle Layers' and 'Postage Square Layers' dies.  The embossing was done a pumpkin Cuttlebug e/f.    The sentiment is from the La-La Land 'Lil' Devil Marci' set of stamps, stamped using Versafine 'Onyx Black. Five punched circles finished off my card.

Trick or Treat

A Halloween card to share today to join in a few challenge.  My Halloween themed dies and stamps are quite limited, but this is what I came up with.

I used a Poppystamps 'Stitch Wreath' die with orange card and die cut into a square with a Memory Box 'Stitched Square' die.  This was matted on a black MB 'Stitched Square; die cut. The witch and bats are from the Impression Obsession 'Halloween Set' of dies.  The sentiment is from a La-la Land 'Lil' Devil Marci' set of stamps and was stamped with Versafine 'Onyx Black'.

Glitter, glitter and more glitter!

The Rudolph Days October Challenge starts today and runs until the end of the month.  I can't believe there is only one more month of this challenge before Christmas!  A quick and easy card today, upcycling an old Christmas card that was too beautiful to throw away.

I covered a card blank with a square of white glitter card, die cut with a Sue Wilson 'Double Pierced Square' die, after gutting a smaller square in the middle so I didn't use a whole big square of my precious white glitter card.  I filled in the gutted part with another square, cut from a spare snippet of ordinary white card.  I cut off the front of the bought Christmas card, attached it over the gutted section.   The Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflake' die cut is attached with foam pads to add dimension.

New Baby

My hubby and I have taken advantage of the Indian Summer we seem to be having lately and have been on quite a few walks in the sunshine, enjoying the beautiful Autumn Colours.  I'll post a few photos at the end of this post.

My friend's daughter gave birth to her first child last week and this is the card I made for the proud parents.
The frame is from the Sue Wilson 'Celebrations' set of dies and the toy animals and heart buttons are Sue Wilson 'New Arrival' dies.  The pink card is pearlised and the silver is matt silver card.  The computer generated text is printed in grey.
