The November Crafty Calendar Challenge begins today and the theme this time is 'Add a Button'.
For my DT card I used an embossing folder which was a magazine cover gift many years ago. I layered the embossed card on a green mat and used buttons for the centres of the larger flowers. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Humming Along' set and stamped with Versafine Clair 'Rain Forest'. The layered sentiment is raised up on foam pads.
The Crafty Calendar Challenge ends on 28th November, so plenty of time to dig out those buttons and use them on your creation.
I am joining in the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteLove this card Liz, pretty colours and what an excellent use of the buttons x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of your buttons on this card. I used to add buttons but I haven't done that in a long time. This card is a fun reminder.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Liz, love your embossing x
ReplyDeleteThose buttons look great on your pink embossed piece as the centres for the flowers Liz, and the green in the background is perfectly coordinated with the buttons...a beautiful card. x
ReplyDeleteThe embossed floral panel has such a nostalgic charm, and the button centers add a playful, tactile touch that really draws the eye. Elevating the sentiment with foam pads gives it a lovely sense of dimension and presence. The Rain Forest ink pairs beautifully with the green mat—everything feels cohesive and thoughtfully balanced.
