I came across a website with an idea for making corner bookmarks.
Click on the link below for clear instructions how to make the basic corner bookmark shape.

This seemed perfect for using up even the tiniest of snippets, so I played around using different colours and this is what I came up with.... a ladybird, penguin, Minion, frog and owl. The ladybird shows how they attach to the page of the book.

Here's another one I made.
I bought some animal print backing papers years ago and never used them. They would be perfect for these bookmarks. I just need to find them!!!
Pixie's Crafty Workshop as given me lots of inspiration to use up little snippets instead of adding them to the pile! Click here to enter this week's challenge.
Hey Liz I saw them on a german website but you have made real funny ones.
ReplyDeleteI really love them. Well done Liz. They are sooooo nice.

This is such a good idea, I think i need to have a go!
ReplyDeleteThey're so easy to make, Rebecca. You could also decorate them with flowers etc if you wanted. Just make sure the decoration is flat so it doesn't ruin the pages when the the book is closed.
