Melodie

For the first time ever, I handmade all our Christmas cards - all 107 of them! I think I'll start making the Christmas cards for Christmas 2015 in January! 

The challenge on the Lavinia Stamps blog for December is 'Add a Flower'.  
For this card I chose the lovely Lavinia 'Melodie' fairy stamp, which I stamped with a black Memento ink pad, before colouring with Promarkers and a silver Wink of Stella glitter brush for the wings.  The flowers were punched with snippets of pink card, embellished with tiny pearls to match the background.

    Wow Liz, 107 handmade cards??? That has been a lot of work. This is a lovely card with lots of flowers that the girl can give water.

    107 handmade cards Liz ? I once did 100 wedding invitations in 3 weeks but it was a rather simple design and all the same of course. Well done Liz. Love this card it's very pretty. I haven't been around much because I was still trying to finish the painting and decorating with wall paper of my craft space. It's as good as finished now. Big hug, Veerle xxx

    Liz this is brilliant. I love the way the image is seen to be watering the 3D flowers.

    Your maiden watering her flowers is so sweet and so pretty, Liz!! I made over a hundred handmade cards, too, and because of that you'll be seeing me making my 2015 cards throughout the year so it stays fun throughout! I hope your Christmas was wonderful!     Love this card Liz :) The little flowers being watered by the fairy is a lovely idea.

    Yup, good idea to make your Christmas cards throughout the year. I made 12 per month and ended up with 132 - and not a single one left over either!
