A Black Cat For Good Luck

I told myself that I have enough embossing folders, but when I saw this one, I knew it would be perfect for a 'Good Luck' card I need this week.  Can you ever have too many embossing folders?
I started with a 7" x 5" card blank. The embossing folder is 'Pawprint Lattice' by Sue Wilson.  I think it must be fairly new as I've not seen it before. There is no name on paw print border punch, so I don't know who makes it.  I bought it years ago in a fabulous little craft shop when I was on holiday in Holland.  I used another NBUS item - a Woodware paw punch on the sentiment strip.  This is a punch I've had for a long time!   I used a Sizzix die for the black cat.
This shows the card open.  I cut 1" off the right hand side of the front of the card and attached the punched border to the back inside edge.  You can see the lovely embossing clearer on this photo.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

    1. I don't really think you can have too many embossing folders either. :-) A stamp collecter is called a philatelist, a coin collector is called a numismatist, so there must be a proper name for someone who collects embossing folders, don't you think? ;-)

    what a very fab card.
Someones going to have good luck when they receive it.
Great designing as always, and I too think you can never have too much crafty stash, including embossing folders. Well that's my excuse in any rate.
Love the fab paw prints down the side.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  5. Shoot, I love that embossing folder (no, can never have too many!) and searched for it, but it looks like it is a UK item. Love the paw print punches, too (I thought it was a strip of paper at first). Fun good luck card :)

    1. Hi Heather
The embossing folder is made by Creative Expression. It is a UK company but here is a link to their stockists in the US.

      Hope this helps. xx
