Penny Farthing

I was unexpectedly working most of last week, so I'm trying to catch up on the cards I need to make.  I need a masculine 80th birthday card this week and this is what I came up with.
As the Anna Marie Designs backing paper is quite busy, I kept the rest of the design quite simple. The penny farthing is die cut using silver mirror card and the sentiment is computer generated.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  7. A perfect card for a masculine 80th birthday. I did not know that is what this bike was called! So thank you for enlightening me with the terminology...how clever. Love the skinny silver shape against that red script paper. You made some wonderful design choices on this one, and it's terrific. TFS & Happy week ahead.

  11. What a great card for an older man. The silver paper really is a good choice for the bike. I didn't know it's real name so thank you for telling us. The happy birthday paper is also perfect for a man card.

  13. Liz, can I ask you what die you used, please? I have some gorgeous buttons that would go beautifully with it, so I'd love to be able to get the die for myself. I can see from your fab card what great results it gives!
