Gears

I'm back with my third post today - and I've also fitted in time to go to the coast to watch the Red Arrows aerobatic display!

The Less is More Challenge theme this week is 'Stencilling'. As it's Father's Day today, I thought I'd make a masculine card.
I made the panel using a Creative Expressions 'Gears' stencil, with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink.  The small mirror card gears were die cut with an x-Cut die.  I used a Spellbinders Cog die cut to mat the sentiment.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Less is More - Week 229 ~ Stencilling
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Weeks 181 and 182 ~ Used silver mirror card snippets
Friday Mashup Challenge #214... Stencil this!
AAA Cards Challenge - Game #42 Paste and/or Stencils

  3. Great guy card! I love sprockets and cogs!

I think I have seen the red Arrows...if they are the plane arobatics, then I saw them a couple of years ago while in England. They were fab!

  5. Now THIS is a great guy card...for ANY occasion. Men like blue (at least most do!) and they nearly all love gears & gadgets. So perfect. Love your stenciling. And yes, get out the brushos! If you've not seen the youtubes by Eileen Godwin, look at those...most excellent. Will encourage you no end. If I can use them, I KNOW you can! TFS & Hugs

  12. Simply AWESOME Liz - fantastic stencilling ... slightly envious of that clever 'cog' stencil you have in your stash. It works brilliantly for both LIM and AAA Cards and love your yummy white space. Thanks as always for playing along. Sarah x
