It's my niece's birthday on Monday, so I had a break today from trying to catch up on all my favourite blogs and made her card. As much as I love going on holiday to places like THIS, I do miss seeing what all my blogging friends have been creating.
The Butterfly Challenge this fortnight is 'Butterflies + F is for Flowers', so my card today has butterflies and a flower (I hope one flower is enough for the challenge, Mrs A!)
A red, black and white card today, using an x-Cut butterfly punch I haven't used for ages. I used one of the red butterfly cut outs from the panel to attach near the flower, using a black Wink of Stella glitter pen to make the butterfly trail. A punched flower finished off my card.
Oh my, I love this card. What a great punch that is and I like the way you used the little cut out butterfly. You can never go wrong with red, white and black, they are great together. Love your New Home card. The "home" is adorable.
ReplyDeleteGreat color combo Liz. Loving the little punched butterflies!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card, the bold colours make it really stand out. I love the pinched butterflies on the red - the black behind it makes them stunning

Cute, cute! Love your butterfly punch! Sweet card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card design here Liz, and the colours are really eye catching. I love the punched butterfly panel. I have that punch also, I think it is languishing in the bottom of a drawer somewhere, perhaps I should dig it out.
