Another masculine card.......

There seems to be a lot of male birthdays in August to make cards for - hopefully this will be the last one for a while, as I never find them easy.
This card is for my friend's DH who is a bit of a handyman, so this Papermania stamp seemed appropriate.  The image is coloured with Promarkers and die cut with a Memory Box 'Stitched Rectangle' die.  I embossed the top half of the background with a tool embossing folder and the bottom half is Anna Marie Design patterned paper.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  13. Hi Liz, sorry to be so slow in visiting. What with travel, then installing Win10 (and now trying to recover back to win7!) Life has been busy. I'd say you aced it with this cute guy card. Really like the tools embossing and that image was spot on for a handyman type. Well done, and I'm sure he will feel quite special with this cute card. TFS & Happy wkend.

  17. I would make this card for ALL my man birthdays in a calendar year - then I guess I'd have to pass it on after that, lol, but at least I'd have one year taken care of! I don't know very many guys who wouldn't love this one, Liz!! I sure do! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
