Bags of fun!

The 'Less is More' One Layer challenge this week is 'Wishing'.  I knew straight away which two stamps I was going to use, but just had to find them!  They are both wood mounted Hobby Art stamps I bought many years ago, but have never used.  They weren't bought as a set, but go well together.  (Edited to say - they go well together in the UK where the image is three bags and not three purses, as in the US! LOL!) I know some crafters say you can remove the stamps off the wooden blocks, but has anyone done it without ruining their stamps?  They take up so much room on the wooden blocks!

So... here is my card

The sentiment was stamped with a Versafine 'Onyx' inkpad and the image with Memento 'Tuxedo Black'.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and Wink of Stella glitter pens.

This is my second card for Darnell's NBUS challenge.  If you haven't heard of NBUS (Never-Before-Used Schtuff), then pop over to Darnell's blog to find out more.  She has a challenge running until the 18th September with very generous prizes from herself, as well as other sponsors.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Less is More - Week 241 One Layer ~ Wishing
Darnell's NBUS Challenge #5 ~ (never-before-used-schtuff )

    1. Just realised that bags in the UK are called purses in the US! The sentiment doesn't tie in at all with purses. LOL! xx

  11. Super card Liz. Can see why it wouldn't quite work in the USA though!!
Just tried peeling a Hero Arts wood mounted stamp off its block and that worked fine. On a mission here now. Tried a Great Impressions and that worked too. Penny Black and SU wouldn't budge but I guess the real answer is it depends on how sticky they are as to how well they will peel off. hugs Mrs A.
