Two cards are needed for this weekend for a Black Tie Dinner/Dance, one masculine and one feminine.
The first card is a copy of a card I made in 2013, in the days when my blog was fairly new, I hadn't discovered the blogging community and I think I was the only one looking at my blog!! My card is CASE'd from a card I saw made on YouTube - you can find out the details HERE in my previous post. The embossing folder I used is a SU one and the buttons are black gems.
For the second card I used a Little Claire silhouette stamp. I added tiny clear gems to the chandelier. The embossing folder is Spellbinders 'Dainty Dots'. A piece of ribbon and three black gems finished off my card.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Wow, cool cards! I especially love the first one! So clever!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning pair of cards! Both very CAS and elegant, and linked not only by the text but by each having three black gems. I take it you are going to the event? If so, have a wonderful time

ReplyDeleteWow Liz! I love both of these but the tuxedo really is a stunner! Such a clever design (I just watched the video) and perfect for either the black tie sort of events or Weddings of course. If you're going - have a wonderful time :)

Both of these are adorable, and just perfect for your special occasion. While #2 is so feminine & graceful, I am really drawn to #1. I LOVE this clever design...what a super way to portray a tuxedo! Well DONE! TFS
ReplyDeleteYour cards are fabulous Liz, and so elegant. I love the tuxedo card with the little bow tie and the black buttons... great idea! It would look fabulous as a full size card for a wedding or formal occasion.
ReplyDeleteI love the dancing silhouette on the second card, and I love the pink and black colour scheme too.
Well done on both Liz!
