Bokeh Effect

Welcome to my new follower, Jules of 'Always with a Heart'.  Please visit her blog to see why she has chosen her blog name, as well as to see all her gorgeous creations.

My third DT project for Fiskarettes.

I remember seeing some time ago cards made with a Bokeh effect for the background, so I thought it was time to try this technique, which is new to me.  It is so simple to do, please click HERE for my mini tutorial on the Fiskarettes Facebook page.  I used the same inks to ink a punch Fiskars Intricate Butterfly punched shape and to ink the mats for the large circle in the middle and the sentiment.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  16. Oh my, love this card! I've only made one bokeh card and it was okay. This one is just beautiful. I love the colors and the butterfly is just stunning. The soft scalloped edges make this so sweet. I scrolled down a bit and love that Rudolph Christmas card. It just grabbed me with it's bright, happy image in red and white. I've been gone for a while working on the house but today I am resting and just visiting to say hi. I hope to be back again soon.
