Any blogging experts out there? Several of the blogs I follow are suddenly appearing under the heading 'hidden' in my list of blogs. Any new posts these bloggers make no longer appear in my 'reading list', so I've missed a lot of their new creations. Anyone know how I can rectify this?
A friend of mine was married last weekend and this is the card I made for the happy couple. I used the theme of butterflies and colours of deep red, silver and white to carry on the theme on the invitation I received.
The main deep red panel is Memory Box 'Butterfly Heart' die cut , which I layered on white, before matting on silver.
Here is a close-up of the die cut which shows the butterflies a little clearer. The die doesn't cut out the butterflies, but leaves the bodies still attached, so the wings can be lifted. The embossing folder is an A4 one, although I'm not sure of the make. The tiny hearts were the waste from a Memory Box 'Heart of Hearts' die cut.

Absolutely gorgeous creation Liz.

The most perfect and personal card. Loving the deep rich colour of the red and that die is fabulous x Wish I could help with Blog issues but it's a mystery to me! x
ReplyDeleteThis is such a deep rich red, and perfect for this heart die. I'm so glad you did a closeup to reveal the details, as it's so pretty. I don't know why the blogs are being hidden. I have a problem that I don't 'see me' in blogs that I'm following for a long time, if I visit. (no picture in their followers list). If I try to 'follow' again, I get the message I'm already following, to sign in to Google, even though I'm already signed in! Just visit when you can, and know I'll be so happy to see you! Hope if you find the answer, you'll share on a post, so we can know what to do. It's probably happening to many of us, but we don't realize it!!! TFS & Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you themed this to the wedding colours. I bet the bride and groom loved it. Cara x
ReplyDeleteI lost a few of my followers Liz. When I saw them comment on my blog I went back to theirs and simply signed in again - even when it told me I was already signed in! Problem solved (so far!). Hidden blogs are Mr Bloggers way of driving us all mad I think - a conspiracy!!
ReplyDeleteLovely rich red used in this card - like it very much!
Thanks Viv. I've managed to refollow one of the blogs, it's still showing as hidden, but hopefully I'll be able to see when there are new posts. xx
DeleteBeautiful card Liz, love the butterfly heart and lovely colours.

Didn't even know you could HAVE hidden blogs! So I'm no help, sorry.
ReplyDeleteLoving your personalised wedding card. Sure to be treasured xxx
When I go into my editing page where I can see a list of the blogs I follow, right at the bottom of the list, it says I have nine blogs I'm following which are hidden. No idea why! x
