A wedding card today for the daughter of very good friends of ours. I've known Charlotte since she was a small child and by chance taught her when I was doing my teacher training in the 1990s.....she was 6 years old then.
For this card, I used white linen card and pink pearlised card. The pink is a lovely, delicated shade and I coloured the pearls for the centres of the flowers with a 'Dusky Rose' Promarker, which was exactly the same shade. I used the following dies:
Sue Wilson ~ Ornate Pierced Square, String Flowers, Petite Vinery
and Memory Box ~ Heart of Hearts
The sentiment is computer generated, printed in grey and die cut with a stitched rectangular die from The Works. The sentiment is raised up on foam pads to add dimension.

This is gorgeous Liz using such a beautiful mix of SW dies and the MB heart looks great as the central image, also the soft pink looks really pretty. I'm sure Charlotte will treasure this. x

ReplyDeleteStamps? A follower suggested, and it's one I am doing this weekend, is to put the stamps onto acetate and into A4 four ringed folders, or A5 I guess which is also a good idea. Stamps will cling to acetate so will give this a go.xx
