Thank You Card

A Thank You card today, using a couple of dies I won recently over in the Playground.
A friend recently asked me if a large 2018 Cath Kidston calendar was of any use to me for recycling to make cards.  Well..... she didn't have to ask twice!  The floral paper I used here is from one of the pages in the calendar, I think it was actually the front cover.   The frame was made with a MFT 'Stitched Diagonal' Cover-up die.  I love this die and I can see that I'll be using it for lots of different occasions. I used  Impression Obsession 'Thanks' die, backing the paper with a piece of an adhesive sheet before die cutting to make it easy to attach to the card.  The flower and leaf are punched shapes.  All the plain card was snippets, so I'll be sharing my card over in the Playground.

I am joining in the following challenges:
Pixie's Snippets Playground Challenge #353 ~ Use Snippets
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge Challenge #442 ~ Recycling
Little Red Wagon Challenge #499 ~ Upcycle/Recycle
Die Cut Diva's May Challenge ~ Flowers All Year Round in May

  2. I adore the colour combination and the pretty floral CK design from the calendar works beautifully, and the punched flower and leaf is a great embellishment as a finishing touch. x
