Stitched Flower

I made this z-fold card for a card swap.

The cross stitch die is by Marianne Designs.  Using a pattern I found online, which I adapted it slightly, the cross stitching was done with crochet cotton.  I rounded the corners of the cross stitch die cut before layering on a Spellbinders 'Lacy Square' die cut.  The front of the card was embossed with a Crafter's Companion 'Sashiko' embossing folder.  The patterned paper is from a old paper pad.

This photo shows the card open, revealing the layered area for writing the message.
