Today is my hubby's birthday, a big one which we'll have to celebrate properly sometime in the future. We have a fabulous local catering company, run by the daughter of good friends of ours, so we've ordered a special three course meal to be delivered for the two of us for this evening.
Here is the card I made for my hubby. After learning to make a teepee card recently, I though it would be a good fold for a special masculine card.
As football is one of my hubby's main hobbies, even though there are no matches to watch at the moment, I used this as a theme for the card. I used the colours of his favourite football team. The patterned paper is from a Dovecraft 'Blue Skies' paper pad. The die cut football is layered on Memory Box 'Stitched Circle Layers' die cuts.
The card folds flat for posting..... although it was obviously hand-delivered. 😉

ReplyDeleteA wonderful Birthday card for Hubbys 70th Birthday Liz. I have to say snap as it's my hubbys Birthday today, he's a year behind though at 69. How great to be able to get a meal delivered from a catering company, the only one that I know that is delivering near us is Dominos. Not quite the same.
