X Fold Card

Butterfly Challenge #141 began today and unlike the last one where I just about got my card made before the challenge closed, this time I'm joining in at the beginning of the challenge.  The theme is 'X for X Fold'.  You can find a tutorial HERE.

The patterned paper was from an old paper pad called 'Riverbank Revels'. I made the frames with a Memory Box 'Stitched Scalloped Circle' die and a plain Spellbinders circle die.  I used an SB circle die for the swinging circle.  I die cut two circles and put them back to back with the thread running through the middle.  I put a Simply Creative 'Butterfly' die cut on both sides. On one side I stamped 'Happy Birthday' and on the other, 'It's YOUR day!'.

    I love this wonderful card and your super design.
    The paper or card used is so pretty and that fold is brilliantly created.
    Not tried this design must try and join in the challenge this time around.

  10. This X Fold looks terrific Liz and I love the bright and pretty paper, and also how you've picked out the blue for the scalloped edge frame, and the beautiful red for the butterfly. A wonderful card! x

  12. This is such a fun card, and thanks for sharing the tutorial! Don't know that I've ever seen this before, but it sure is pretty with the floating butterfly and fun papers!
