Thinking of you at Christmas Time

A Christmas card today that has already arrived at its destination across the other side of the Atlantic.

I like this SU sentiment, especially for cards going to someone who will find celebrating Christmas difficult this year.  The poinsettias are made with Spellbinder dies, which cut and emboss.  I added tiny yellow pearls to the centres. The patterned paper is from a paper pad I bought in The Works.  It has a zigzig pattern on, so perfect for Beccy's Challenge for the last letter of the alphabet.

The top of the front of the card is cut off.  I added a strip of the patterned paper to the inside of the card.  Three tiny yellow pearls above the sentiment finished off my card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. It's a beautiful sentiment Liz, and sadly there are many people who are going to be doing it tough this year. 2020 hasn't been kind. It's lovely of you to think of those who might not be in celebration mode, and I'm sure this gorgeous card will be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Beccy

  5. A lovely card and I see what you mean about the sentiment - a good one to use when the usual 'happy' sort isn't appropriate for any reason

  12. Great that the card has reached it's destination. I have found mail to/from NZ to be really erratic this year. Sometimes it will take the normal amount of time but I have had some take more than a month (one 5 months).
I like the design of your card Liz. The half front with one poinsettia and the other poinsettia underneath look great when the card it closed. I like the pretty blue paper too.
