Cutting it fine.....

I'm not sure where May has gone, but here we are the end of the month.  I made two cards today and I'm cutting it fine because I need to link them up by the end of May!

My first card is to help my blogging friend Mia celebrate her 4th Blogaversary.  She generously puts mandalas on her blog for bloggers to download and use.  To celebrate her blogaversary, she has asked for her mandalas to used in creations and uploaded on her blog.  The closing date is in a couple of hours, so I'm sneaking in my card just in time.  This is the mandala I chose to use and I coloured it with Polychromos colour pencils and added a green Card Candi in the centre.   I die cut the image with a Memory 'Stitched Circle Layers' die and layered it on a Memory Box 'Stitched Scallop Circle' die cut.  I embossed the background with a Couture Creations 'Chain Link' e/f and added a strip of ribbon across the middle of the card.

The May Rudolph Days Challenge ends today, so I made a card to join in the challenge.......just in time!   I used a Memory Box 'Grand Merry Christmas' with a snippet of Stampin' Up plaid paper.  The tree is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Perfectly Plaid' set and stamped with Versafine Clair 'Rain Forest'.  I added three gold holographic stars in the corner and one on the top of the tree.
