Joy Fold Card

We've been away in our caravan for just over a week.  Sorry I haven't left many comments when I've been blog visiting - blame it on the very hit and miss WiFi on the site.

I'm sharing a Joy Fold birthday card today, which I made for a crafty friend.  I'm hoping it reached its destination for her birthday yesterday.

The patterned papers are from a Papermania paper pad, with the colour especially chosen for the recipient.  I used cream with the turquoise to give the card a softer look.  The doily in the centre is a Memory Box 'Amana Circle' die cut and I added a flower brad in the centre.  The card is kept closed with a plain brad.  I added three punched flowers with tiny pearls in the centres and a sentiment stamped with Versafine Clair 'Warm Breeze'

The card opens up to reveal the cream panel to write the message.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  16. The Joy Fold is one of my favourite's that you do Liz and so pretty with the blue patterned papers and accompanying cream card, and love that MB ornate circle with the sweet little central flower brad, and the plain one looks great as a closure, and finished perfectly with the three little punched flowers. x

  20. This is still one of my favourite card shapes to come back to.. Definetly a good idea to put the cream with the blue. It does indeed soften the colour combination. Hugs Mrs A.
