I recently visited the World Heritage Site, Stonehenge.....
...... and there is a lovely little craft shop a couple of miles away in Amesbury. I left my hubby in a coffee shop in Amesbury, while I had a browse in the craft shop. I had my eye on this Woodware 'Sunflower Gnome' when I first saw it online and when I saw it in the shop, I just had to buy it...... with quite a few other crafty goodies.
I coloured the image with Promarkers. I stamped the bees a second time, fussy cut and coloured them and layered them over the original bees just by the bodies so the wings were free, to add some dimension. The background was embossed with an Embossalicious 'Honeycomb Patchwork' e/f. I added a sentiment and two tiny punched sunflowers.
I am joining in the following challenges:
A gorgeous card Liz, like you I cannot pass a craft shop without buying something :)

I can see why you had to buy this fab Gnome, it's such a cutie. Lovely card. As for Stonehenge, it must be at least 50 years since I visited. I wonder if it's time to go again? ;D

It's changed there a lot over the years. No more touching the stones, visitors have to look from a distance now. A mini bus transports the visitors from the car park and there is an interesting exhibition in the visitors centre. xx
DeleteWhat a cute card you created, Liz. Love the image great sketch.
ReplyDeleteWould love to visit Stonehenge one day...
