Lego Card

Welcome to my new follower, Sharon of Making The World Sparkle.  I hope you have time visit my blog again soon.

I made a Lego card today.  I'm not sure who will receive it, so I've left a space to add a number.

To make the Lego bricks, I cut rectangles of card 5cm x 2 1/2cm and squares 2 1/2cm x 2 1/2cm. The circles are punched with a 1cm punch and attached with little foam pads.  I used a Sizzix embossing folder to make the background.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  6. Very clever and hats off to you for your patience, must have taken you ages. I know little boys and probably big boys would love this, you could put 4 or 40 on it and it would still work lol x

  7. This is a wonderful card Liz, I've made many of these for family members and know how fiddly it is to punch and attach those little circles and keep them in a straight line :o)
Many thanks for joining in my 'For a Child' challenge at Allsorts this week.

  15. What a fun birthday card! This is so awesome and looks exactly like the real thing. The nice thing is, if you step on it, it won't hurt your bare feet.

  18. The lego bricks look great Liz and I'm sure that the right birthday will be along during the year for you to use it for as Lego is still as popular today as it was when our son was a child. I love the bright colours and the embossed dotty background finishes it beautifully. x
