10th Blogaversary! .....and a some advice please.

For some reason I can't leave a comment on other blogs using my profile and many blogs don't allow anonymous comments, so sorry if I haven't left you a comment lately.  Any advice to solve the problem would be welcome, before I tear all my hair out!  I'm trying to leave comments using my iPad, which I usually use, and this problem has only recently happened.  I'm on computer tonight to write this post, so I'm hoping I'll be able to leave some comments using the computer, unless Google/Blogger decides otherwise!

Back to my post.... little did I know that 10 years ago today when I started my blog,  that I would still be blogging 10 years later and have made so many crafty blogging friends around the world.  I set up my blog originally just to keep a record of the cards I've made.... and the rest is history.   Thank you to everyone who has visited my blog, especially everyone who takes the time to leave me a comment.  They really are appreciated.

My favourite type of card to make is a fancy fold card, so I thought it appropriate to share one today. I think the name for this is a Pop-Up Easel Card.
The papers are from a Trimcraft 'Sail Away' paper pad.  The mini easel was made with  Memory Box 'Stitched Circle Layers' dies and the yacht is a Memory Box 'Marine Sailboats' die cut.  I used a red brad from my brad mountain as a stopper for the little easel.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. Sorry to hear of your problem leaving comments ... sadly I'm a bit of a neanderthal when it comes to computers so I'm unable to help you but am wishing you luck. Today's card is an absolute triumph though

    Happy Saturday

  7. What a fantastic nautical creation! I love the fancy fold and pop-up element! As for your blogger issues, I have no answers and haven't had any issues yet. Of course I haven't installed Win11 yet either, but I anticipate nightmares when the time comes to try that! Good luck and happy blog anniversary too!

  8. A super card Liz, a fabulous design and lovely papers.
Congratulations on ten years of blogging, I can see your profile on the comment you kindly left on my blog so I assume mine isn't one of the ones that is causing you a problem, or if it is, you have solved the problem - either way I'm sorry I've not come across this so can't help.

  9. Congratulations on your Blogaversary. This is yet another really interesting and attractive fold - you certainly seem to find lots of varied ones. Don't use an I-pad myself but have heard that there are sometimes problems interacting with Blogger. Sorry I can't help.

  10. Congratulations on 10 years of blogging. Sorry I can't help with the problem you are having - I presume you have tried logging out of Google and back in again? That's the only thing I can think of.

  11. Congratulations on blogging 10 years! What an achievement! And great that you didn't bail out like so many to go to the just-like platforms!
I enjoy your makes (especially the foilding cards that I don't make myself, but the other ones inspire me too) and am glad we got in touch through blogging! Up to more years! Enjoy your sunday!

  14. I've seen this fun card fold around and always loved it Liz. It showcases any theme beautifully and your nautical papers and focal point look amazing here.
Regarding your problem with commenting, a member of one of my design teams has had the same issue when commenting on her Ipad in Blogger, there always seems to be something happening with Blogger these days. I always use my computer so haven't had this happen to me so I'm sorry I cannot help you.

  15. Your fancy fold is stunning! What a showpiece for the recipient! I struggle with folds but I will occasionally try them - I wouldn't know where to start with this one - I am in awe! Happy Blogiversary! Congrats on 10 years! I am no help with technology as I still use an old flip phone LOL. Wishing you many more years of fun blogging!

  17. Congratulations on 10 years of living in Blogland! It's such a lovely place, isn't it!

I do love your fancy fold cards - they are always so fascinating and gorgeous looking. Wish I had the basic measuring and cutting skills to attempt one, but I'm terrible at the practical side of things!

I'm sorry I can't help with the blogger problems - I don't use an I-Pad and am new "again" to blogger and haven't come across this problem. I hope it gets sorted out soon, I can imagine it must be extremely frustrating.

  19. Blogger definitely has a mind of it's own! Congratulations on your ten year blogaversary. I love this card and all the fold cards you make. My mind doesn't work that way. I have a hard time understanding how to make a simple box! This card is over the top with a fancy fold and pop up easel. It is terrific. I wish I could help with blogger but I only know how to post and if something goes wrong I have to call someone.

  21. Congratulations on your 10-year Blogaversary, Liz! We both started around the same time ... and I certainly never expected when I hit that first publish button that I would some day be making and meeting friends like you from England! It's been a blast for ten years and I sure hope you get your issues with Google resolved. I don't think I've seen you on my blog for a bit, but I did see a comment you left on Di's post, and it was under your name and photo, so I'm hoping that means all is well now! You certainly have chosen a perfect and beautiful card as a showcase of your work for this post! I consider you the Queen of Fancy Folds! That's located about 38 kilometres and around a hedge from Oz! Hugs, Darnell

  22. Well done on ten years Liz, I think many of us felt the same and that it would be a passing whim, but here we all are, It about fourteen years for me(I think).

Such an intricate looking fold today, you showcase them so well.

  25. I am loving this style of card and must look it up on line as I am trying to be a bit more ambitious when it comes to the shape and design of a card. I have ordered and just received a Hunkydory scoreboard so will be trying it out, not for anything quite as ambitious as this though..lol. I think the stars and anchors on the papers work brilliantly and the little yacht on the circular easel looks great Liz. Blogger does seem to have a mind of its own sometimes but with regard to this problem I'm not sure what could be the problem. I have an ancient tablet which is Android and that works OK for commenting but have never used an iPad and I do most of my commenting on the Mac computer which I haven't had a problem with...I'm touching wood when I say this..lol. x

    1. Glad you've got your scoreboard, Pat. There will be no stopping you with your fancy folds now. So many fancy folds are so much easier to make than they look. This one is particularly easy to make. A square of card, with one cut and four scorelines. xx

  30. Happy belated Blogaversary Liz!!!!! I started my blog for the same reason, and I have too met so many wonderful people by blogging. Although since hubby's passing, I don't keep up with blogging to well, but still enjoy it when I do. I'm sorry to hear of the issue you are having with commenting. I wish I was savvy on this stuff, but sadly I'm not! Hopefully someone that is savvy can help you though. I love, love, love your card! The papers, the card fold, everything! It's bright and cheery and just oh so fun, well done once again! Hugs, Brenda
