Sparkle

A bit of sparkle today.

I made the scalloped layers with Hobbycraft 'Duck Egg' and 'Dark Duck Egg' glitter card, using Lisa Horton's 'Scallop Layered Rectangles' dies. The flower is a Memory Box 'Fuchsia Sprig' die cut. I used a Lisa Horton's 'Padded Quilt' embossing folder to add some texture to the top layer. A layered sentiment finished off my card.

I am joining in the following challenges with this card:

A simple CAS card using pale gold glitter card.
I used Memory Box 'Prim Poppy' and 'Lucienne Tile' die cuts and added a layered sentiment.

  11. The first reminds me of a topper/blanket and even in white you created a warm card by using that! The 2nd is a beautiful CAs one; love that warm green. Hugs, Gerrina

  15. Two very pretty cards Liz and I love the Padded Quilt EF.. will be putting that on my wish list and it goes beautifully with the layered plain and scalloped rectangles and the duck egg toned glitter card, and the MB fuchsia is perfect over the top. The gold glitter card used on the next is great too, and the MB strip die and poppies work brilliantly together for this more CAS look. x
