Floating Book Fold Card + Rugby Card

I made this card after watching a video this week on the Nifty Noodles Crafting Facebook page which demonstrated this fold.

The papers are from a paper pad from The Range.  I used two Memory Box dies.  The die cut on the left is 'Prim Poppy' and I snipped off a little piece from the bottom to make it fit the panel.  The die cut on the right is part of the 'Blooming Poppy'.

This shows the card looking down from the top.

I am joining in the following challenges:
Memory Box March Challenge #93 ~ Floral Favourites Oops!  I should have used red flowers for the challenge. I’ve asked them to delete my entry.

A second card today which I made for friend who's a rugby fan.  He supports the Bristol Bears, so I checked their website and copied the kit design.
The stamp is a very old Jolly Nation rubber stamp, at least fifteen years old, and I coloured the image with Promarkers.  The backing papers are from Anna Marie Designs and I added three punched stars.

I am joining in the following challenge with this card:

  23. Went right to your rugby card and totally missed that the fancy floating fold card was for another challenge I am on the design team for!! Beautiful done...the white silhouette give such a spring time feel!! I almost always do my silhouettes in black and they seem more dreary and sad...great for sympathy cards, but I am liking them done in white for a more springy//happy card!! Way to go shopping your stash!! Thanks for play along with our "Flowers, Flowers Everywhere" challenge over at Shopping Our Stash!! —Deb Horst, DT #SOS491
