Christmas in July

I can't believe it's time for the Rudolph Days July Challenge.... where has the last seven months gone!  I watched a video on the Nifty Noodles Crafting Facebook page today and this is the fold that was demonstrated.  I adjusted the measurements slightly so I could get make the card base out of an A4 sheet of card.

The  patterned paper is from a 12" x 12" paper pad from The Works which I bought last year.  I just about had enough snippets left of these two designs to make the card without cutting into a new sheet, so I'll be sharing my card over in The Playground.  The Christmas tree in the corner is punched and raised up on foam pads.

The snowflakes are Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes' die cuts, more snippets!  I decided to put a panel inside for the message, so die cut two rectangles with Memory Box 'Stitched Rectangle Layers' dies.  The sentiment is a SU stamp, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Blue Belle'.

The card folds flat for posting and measures 6" x 4".

I am joining in the following challenges:

I cannot believe how fast the months are speeding past- every year they seem to go more quickly, probably a sign of my advanced age!

    1. It really is an easy fold to make. These papers are very similar to one of the LOTV paper pads I’ve almost used up, but as this one is 12 x 12 I have plenty of large snippets to keep me going. 😀
