A thank you card I can post on my blog now that I know it's been received. The current Butterfly Challenge requires just a butterfly and flowers, so I'll be joining in the challenge with this card. As everything, apart from the card base and the pink card, was snippets I'll be sharing my card over in The Playground.
:I used a Crafter's Companion 'Thank You For Everything' die in a 6" x 6" card blank. The stamped sentiment is from the same set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Charming Pink' and the banner was hand cut. The top panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder. The patterned paper was from a paper pad from The Works and I picked out two of the colours in the flowers to make the butterfly. The butterfly was made with Memory Box 'Pippi Butterfly' and 'Isabella Butterfly' dies.
I covered the inside back page with a piece of pink card.

How bright and beautiful Liz and I love the iris covered dp and the bright pink for the background to the sentiment and also inside the card looks great, also the swiss dots embossing works well behind the pretty butterfly. x

I love the pink and orange together and this is a lovely way to send flowers for a thank you. A very pretty card.
ReplyDeleteI always forgot the name of card's shapes, but love so much this one and the way how the sentiment connects the two parts of the card leaving the empty space in the middle. It's a type of card that I always want to try. Fabulous design withe that beautiful paper and the embossed dots. The pink holds together so well all the elements.
