18th Birthday

I made this card for a special young lady celebrating her 18th Birthday next week.  As she won't see my blog I'm posting it today.

The card base was made with a Spellbinders 'Happy Days' die.  I used a sheet of patterned paper from the Trimcraft 'Love Letters' paper pad and everything else was from my snippets drawers. The green squares are embossed with a Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder.  The flowers were made with dies from the Creative Expressions 'Daisy Blossoms' set.

After reading on Kath's blog that she is going to try and remember to take photos of the snippets she used for her Snippets cards, I thought I'd try and do the same this year.  Usually I remember after I've tossed the leftover scraps in the bin and it's too late!  The die for the circles cuts out four different sized circles, so I've saved the ones I didn't use on this card.

  8. Fabulous steps card, I'm sure that the young woman will love it! I have a Crealies die that cut the same shape, and also that Love Letters paper pad, both them would deserve an outing, thanks so much for remembering me about them.
