Fractured Card

This is my first attempt at a fractured card.  Everything was snippets, apart from the card blank.
I die cut a pink heart using a Memory Box 'Sofia Heart’ die. I used the same die in a Memory Box ‘Stitched Square Layers’ die cut,  inlaid the pink heart, then inlaid the white ‘waste’ back  inside the heart.  All the pink patterned paper was snippets from The Works.  I found a snippet of white paper already embossed with hearts and managed to cut two triangles to fit with the hearts going in the right direction. I assembled all the pieces on a rectangle of white card, another snippet, just smaller than the card blank, so I could leave a little white border on my card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  14. Great 'fractured' card Liz! Of course I love the pinks you used - everything works together beautifully. I tend to make my fractured cards on a piece of card slightly smaller than the card front. It makes it so much easier to trim off the 'overhangs' neatly from the back.
