Our Golden Wedding Anniversary

Here's the card I made for my hubby for our Golden Wedding Anniversary yesterday.  My hubby came up trumps giving me the latest Lavinia stamps bundle.  I think my daughter may have had a hand in his choice of gift. 😉

I made a Tower Card and kept the decorations fairly simple as it was a masculine card. The heart was die cut with dies from the Sue Wilson 'Laced Heart' set of dies. I bought the set in a sale ages ago but haven't used them until now, so I'll be sharing my card over in the NBUS Challenge. The side panels, were embossed with an X-cut 'Small Polka Hearts' embossing folder.

All the pale gold, pearlised card was snippets so I'll be sharing my card over in The Playground.  I've accumulated quite a few snippets of this lovely gold card as there have been quite a few Golden Wedding Anniversaries to make cards for this year.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  6. What a fabulous card and many congratulations on your Golden Wedding Liz. I love the central part of the Laced Heart with the series of dotty holes, and the background Xcut small hearts embossing looks great with it and the pearlised gold card is perfect. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your new Lavinia stamps. x
