A new Allsorts Challenge begins today and Lolo has chosen the theme of 'Cuddly and/or Cute'. Anything Goes is also an option if cuddly or cute is not your thing. For my DT card I've made a Spring Fold card with a cute owl which will be going to my great nephew.
The owl is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Adorable Owls' set, stamped with Memento and coloured with Promarkers. I used one of the Lavina pound stamps to stamp around the edge of the die cut stitched square with Versafine Clair Rain Forest. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Label Me Bold' set. The patterned paper is from The Range.
The card folds flat for posting.

I made a second card using the Spring Fold with a more feminine look, using papers from The Works.
Stamping around the edge of the square was done with Lavinia pound stamps and I added two punched pink flowers to the base of the card.

I love this cute little owl and beautifully coloured on both cards Liz, and the spring fold looks great for both versions, and the blue and green papers both work well with the green with white spots and maple leaf stamped around the edge more masculine, then the brighter colours using more super Lavinia stamps with leaves and flowers with the more flowery background paper for a more girly look. Your nephew will love his version I'm sure. x
