Eclipse Sunflower Card

Just wondering how often other bloggers check their Spam Comments folder.  I check mine most days and there is often several genuine comments sitting there.  Blogger randomly seems to mark some comments from followers as spam.

It was my birthday on Monday and we've been away to Hay-on-Wye for a few days.  No time for cardmaking this week, so I'm sharing a card a made for a special friend who celebrated her birthday a couple weeks ago.

The patterned paper is from The Range. I die cut the Happy Birthday from the middle of the patterned paper and again three times from yellow card. The die was a pre-loved one I bought, which might be a Lawn Fawn die.  I layered the patterned paper over a yellow mat, before layering all the die cut sentiments together and replacing them in the space on the card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  3. Every day as well Liz, both on my own and challenge blogs. It never fails to amaze me how a regular visitor is blocked one day and not another and certain many bloggers don't realise this happens.

You card today is really beautiful and what a good idea cutting the lower layers in a coordinating colour to give a lovely shadow effect, must remember that one.

  4. Love this Liz, the eclipse technique is so effective, and looks brilliant with that wonderful die and pretty papers. I don’t have any dies suitable for this technique but I’m sure I’ll get one at some point! xx
