Noel

This is the first card I've made for a couple of weeks, apart from DT cards.  As well as having a short break away this week, I'm getting over a bad reaction to a recent Covid jab which has lasted for a few weeks.  Friday night I slept for 12 hours as well as being asleep for most of Friday afternoon!  I'm well behind with my cards for Beccy's month of Holiday cards, so I'm starting in the middle of the alphabet with 'N' and in an attempt to catch up with my Christmas cards for this year, I made a dozen of these CAS cards today.  The base card and the rectangle are the same shade of cream, although they look different in the photo.

The die is a  Lil' Inker Designs 'Noel Word Die'.  I added two tiny googly eyes and a red circle nose which was the waste from a Memory Box 'Large Circle Burst' die cut.  I used Memory Box 'Stitched Rectangle Layers' die for matting and layering.  As the red card was from my snippets drawer, I'll be sharing my card over in The Snippets Playground.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. Great fun CAS card Liz with that cute die. Sorry you’ve been unwell after your Covid jab … I’ve heard a couple of other people say that this year. Hope you’re soon feeling better xx

  2. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well Liz, a few weeks is a long time to be suffering from something that's supposed to keep you well. I hope you're back to full strength soon.
You did a great job on your "N" card, the little face you added is adorable! I love the colour combo too, the cream and brown with a dash of red looks wonderful.
    Cheers,
    Beccy

  5. As a fan of CAS, I am LOVING this make.

So sorry to hear you've been wrestling with the after effects of the Covid shot, got mine to organise as all our clinics happened whilst we were away recently too. Hope you are recovering now. Also hope you enjoyed your break away too

  6. A great card for batch making - reminds me I should dig out my die, not used it yet this year but it is a handy one for sure. Sorry you've not been feeling so good after your Covid jab, hope you recover fully very soon.

  12. Yikes, sorry to hear about the COVID vaccination reaction. Even now, some people are poleaxed as the medical folk try to keep the vaccine ahead of what could be on the horizon! I love your card Liz - and it's one of my favourite fun dies for Christmas, especially with the googly eyes! Particularly good for 'batch bakes' - which I might need to resort to the way that time is galloping past!!
    Take care Liz
    Hugs
