Birthday Cards

A friend celebrated her big birthday recently and I made her this Flying Seagull card.

The flower is a stamp from the Woodware 'Mini Flowers' set, coloured with Promarkers.  The papers are from The Range.  I used number dies from the Works.  Three enamel dots finished off my card.

A second card today, made for my nephew.  He isn't particularly interested in sport or drinking, so I always find his card difficult to make.  I decided on a CAS underwater theme.
I use a snippet of silver mirror card with a Memory Box 'Oceana Corner' die.  The blue card was also from my blue snippets drawer, so I'll be sharing my card over in the Snippets Playground.

What a fabulous card for your friend's 60th birthday Liz and I love the contrast with the bright red and then the dark background piece of dp with all the different pretty flowers, and the bright yellow central and sentiment to finish. The second card looks great too with the die cut corner full of everything to do with the ocean and its animals for your nephew..just perfect. x

  27. Your Flying Seagull card is such a joyful celebration—love how the bold yellow flower pops against the patterned papers, and the fun fold adds a delightful surprise. The underwater theme for your nephew is a clever choice, especially with that intricate die cut and sleek mirror card detail. Both designs show your thoughtful approach to matching style with personality!
