My hubby and I arrived home yesterday from a wonderful week in Cumbria with five other couples, staying in a large self-catering house. We've been going away together to different places every year since 1990 (except for during Covid). I'll post a few photos of our holiday at the end of this post.
A birthday card using a style of card I make for my husband HERE. This time it's a feminine card.
The patterned paper is from The Works. The circles were cut with Memory Box dies. I embossed the white circle with a Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder. The butterfly was made from Memory Box 'Pippi Butterfly' and 'Isabella Butterfly' die cuts and attached to the circle just by the body to leave the wings free.

I like the shape of your card a lot! So nice!! And the photos remind me of our stay in Cumbria during one of our motorhome journeys through the UK. I think we made about 10 journeys and visited nearly the whole country, Scotland and Wales included! We are fond of the UK, but now we sold our motorhome, so we will miss it....Enjoy your holidays!

ReplyDeleteHow lovely to go on holiday with friends, we used to do it a lot but sadly some of the friends aren't well enough to do it any more, have some wonderful memories of happy times spent together though. Your photos are beautiful, Cumbria is one of the places we enjoyed visiting together. xx
