The Less is More Challenge this week is the 'Emboss Resist Technique', a new technique for me. This was my first attempt and I'm sure it won't be the last!
I chose an old wood mounted Penny Black stamp with quite a simple design. The image was stamped with an embossing pad and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I sponged over the image using an Adirondack 'Raspberry' ink pad and used the same ink pad to stamp the sentiment. I added some faux stitching using a fine liner pen.

This is very pretty Liz and the lovely flowers clear embossed look fabulous with that bright pink DI. I love the added faux stitching and a sentiment in the pink to match. x

DeleteI can't believe it's your first one, Liz! I love lots of techniques, but emboss resist is probably my favorite--partly because I have such limited coloring skills & it always turns out great, as yours did!
