Blocking unwanted followers

Before I show my card, I thought I'd share some information for blocking unwanted followers on Blogger.  I read recently on a blogging friend's blog that she was unable to block a spam follower.  I had a similar follower a while ago and managed to work out how to block them.

1.Click on the ‘Stats’ button on the editing page, at the top of the page it shows how many followers you have.
2. Click on this and it brings up a list of all your followers, with the option to block any individual follower.

Hope this helps anyone who has been having a similar problem with unwanted followers.

Onto my card.  I saw this idea on the Nifty Noodles Crafting Facebook page for using up leftover thin strips of card to make a tent fold card.
The patterned paper is from a Trimcraft 'Sail Away' paper pad.  The yacht is a new die I won in the Memory Box Challenge.  The sails come as separate die cuts which makes the yacht easy to assemble. The cloud is one of the dies from the Memory Box 'Puffy Clouds', with a little creative cutting to make it fit the space.  The stitched plain and scalloped circles are MB die cuts too.

This photo shows the inside of the card.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Sailing Home' set.  The back of the card has a plain white panel, layered on a red mat.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  6. Hi, Liz...
Thank you for the helpful info on blocking Spam followers. I get the occasional troublesome spam poster, but I have not noticed that they have become followers.
I am visiting from NBUS and was happy to see you entry was close by one of mine...gave me a good excuse to come over and say hello. :)
Love your fun nautical card. What a great design. Does it fit in a standard envelope? Wouldn't have to be a perfect fit and one can always construct an envelope of the right dimensions. I really like that the circle feature gives you some extra room for your focal image and sentiment. Lovely card.
    Thank you for sharing!!

    1. My card fits perfectly into a standard 6” x 4” envelope. The base card was an off cut of a piece of UK A4 card folded in half. xx

  17. Hi Liz, what a perfect masculine card you've made there! Love the shape, and what a good idea for using up left-over cardstock, and the die is fab. I very often think to myself I should get some dies that I can use as a focal point on cards, rather than as embellishments.

Thanks for the kind comment as well about my 'arty' pictures - I'd had a fold-down light box tent thing for ages but this new lit box is a real revelation! No windowsills and searching for light anymore but it also folds down and is portable! Am well impressed!

Hope you have a good weekend,
    Sarah
