New Home

New Home card for friends who have recently moved.

I used a Marianne Designs cross stitch die and cut the shape with a Spellbinders 'Postage Stamp' die.  After cross stitching the design with crochet cotton, I layered the postage stamp die cut on a red mat.  The 'keys' embossing folder is an old one and I'm not sure of the brand.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  19. Oh I love this card Liz!! Your little stitched house is so cute, I love the key embossing too, perfect for a new home owner. My son will be a first time home owner in Feb, so will have to get him a card made. Do you stitch on cross stitch material and then place on your card?? I just love seeing your stitched cards!
