I bought this die set last year in the Sizzix sale and I finally got round to using it. The die cut toucan was a bit fiddly to make up and I did some creative snipping to make all the pieces fit.
The dies are from the Sizzix Thinlits 'Jungle Shadow Box' set. The toucan and the circle frames are raised up on foam pads. The stencil is from Lavinia Stamps, called 'Glory'. I used Distress Oxides for the stencilling - Wilted Violet, Fossilized Amber and Lucky Clover.

Great stencilled background to set off this wonderful toucan. Some die sets are a bit fiddly to put together but always worth the faff in my opinion especially when the results are good

The three colours for the stencilled background look great together and I love the Lavinia stencil Liz, and also that sweet toucan within the coloured circles. I went to see what was in the set and there are 18 dies so great value, but I'm not sure I could deal with those fiddly bits..lol, but the finished look is brilliant! x
