Twofer

Thank you for all your positive comments in my last post.  Day 8 today, still testing positive, so still self-isolating.

I CASE'd this project HERE to make my crate of spring flowers.  I used flower and leaf dies and a sentiment stamp from the Lisa Horton's first box kit.  I added some clear gems in the middle of the flowers.  The flowers are attached to strips inside the crate, the same as in a Pop-up Box card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

A quick and simple Christmas card today, upcycling a shop bought card we received last Christmas.  I cut the card into a square and corner rounded the corners.  The background is gold mirror card from the Scrapstore, die cut into into a scalloped square using a Lisa Horton's  'Stitched Scallop Layered Squares' die.  Must be the quickest card I've ever made and only cost me the price of the card blank.

  4. Wow Liz, this is fantastic and so pretty with all the different coloured flowers inside. I don't think I will be attempting this myself as there are so many pieces (I took a look at the Wendy's blog to see the 'how to') and you have followed the steps brilliantly and made this beautiful creation. x

  14. Your flower obox ard is lovely but I think the recycled Christmas card is splendid. I always try to recycle a few that we receive, but this year not many lent themselves to doing it. This is very efective and has made a lovely card.
Hope you are better (negative) soon. I have managed to evade the virus so far, but on Tuesday i am going to Uk to meet my now one year old grand-daughter for the first time, and to see all my boys, so I will be very, very, careful, and hopefully I will continue to avoid it! Kate x
