After a craft weekend last Saturday and Sunday, then off to North Devon last Monday for a few days, I'm hoping to catch up with my blog visiting this weekend
The Allsorts Challenge is running for two weeks with the optional theme of 'In the Spring Garden'. The tulips are just beginning to peek through in our garden, so I'm sharing a mid-challenge tulip card.
I used a Marianne Designs cross stitch die for the holes and die cut into a square using a die from the Spellbinders 'Postage Stamps' set. The cross stitching was done with crochet cotton. The patterned paper was from a very old Dovecraft 'Back to Basics III' paper pad.
I used a Couture Creations 'Fireflies' embossing folder for the green panels and added three matching green pearls.
I am joining in the following challenges:
As You Like It Challenge ~ Favourite: Gems or Pearls (and why) My favourite are pearls as I feel they make the card look more elegant and stylish.
I do like your cross stitch cards and the tulip one is just right for spring. Pretty colours and an interesting fold.
