The challenge on the City Crafter blog this week is 'Die Cut Gold', so out came my gold mirror card and box of dies.
I love this Memory Box 'Vintage Bicycle' die, especially cut in gold or silver. The circles are cut with Memory Box 'Stitched Circle' dies. I used a Cuttlebug 'Clockworks' embossing folder for the background as I thought the cogs tied in nicely with the Penny Farthing bicycle. A gold Card Candi finished off my card.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Every time you use this die I love it more - this card is so elegant and the embossed background is perfect with the die

Just popping back to reply to your question about the crafty blogging day my friend went to - It sounded like a lovely day of tutorials about crafts of different kinds and tips on blogging about them, all interspersed with tea and cake. My friend is going to write about the day soon, Liz, I'll pop a link in a comment on your blog when she does. I must find out how to get invited to one myself!

Thanks, Jane. Sounds like fun. xx
DeleteWow. That bike has cut so well. I find mirri-card quite difficult and the lines on this are so fine. It looks great. Kate x
