Thank You

I made a start on my Thank You cards today.  This is the first one, using a new die a crafty friend gave me for Christmas.  My patterned paper snippets are stored by colour in a folder, but I seldom remember to use them.  So that's one of my New Year resolutions - to use them!
This patterned paper was a snippet from a scrapbook layout I made over ten years ago - so I thought it was about time I used it!  The new die is Memory Box 'Chloe Stem' which I used to die cut the blue pattered paper and yellow card.  I added a tiny yellow butterfly for added interest, with a trail of tiny white pearls to show the flight path.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  2. Very beautiful card Liz. I love your new die and a clever use of designer papers snippets. I too always forget to use them. Something I can try for 2016 too LOL

  7. What a great colour combination Liz, the blue and yellow look great together. I like the addition of the little butterfly too. Well done on using up some of your paper off cuts... I'm hoping to do that more this year too.
    Cheers,

  8. Gorgeous card Liz - and that's one die you won't be able to persuade me to buy because I already have it!

  11. This is really pretty Liz. The Chloe die is one that I keep meaning to buy as it is such a useful one to make into single stems or multiples. I love the yellow with the blue. It's the colours I have in the bathroom at the moment. always looks so fresh. Must admit my scraps are far exceeding the boxes they are kept in. Must use them up or dispose of. Thankyou for fluttering by and being my 1st entry of the New Yr Hugs Mrs A.
