Proud as a Peacock

When I saw this peacock die as a free gift with the latest 'Simply Cards and Papercraft' magazine.....the temptation to buy it was just too much.
The patterned paper was part of the free gift with a sister magazine, made to coordinate with the peacock die.  The peacock is die cut using turquoise glitter card, matted and layered on a SB 'Picot Edge' and a MB 'Stitched Circle' die cut.  The embossing folder is Creative Expressions 'Fantails'.  The design is just like the feathers of a peacock when they are fanned out - perhaps that's why it's called Fantails! ;-)

As the peacock die is a NBUS die, I'll be popping over to Darnell's blog with my last NBUS entry.  The challenge closes tomorrow, so you've still got time to enter.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  7. Simply gorgeous. All the patterns, embossing - really are so complimentary to the wonderful peacock. I am always so amazed at the 'freebies' that come with the UK magazines (of course I realize the magazines are probably a bit pricey). You really scored on this stuff though, because it's a stunner & perfect color choices too. TFS & Hugs
