What glorious weather we had in Devon over the half term week! Hope it was warm and sunny where you were. We had intermittent wifi connection, so not much chance to comment on blogs this week. :-(
Today's card is a masculine 'Get Well' card needed for my brother, who had an operation on Wednesday.
I decided on a little Woodware stamp, stamped with a Memento ink pad and coloured with Promarkers. The image is die cut with a Memory Box 'Stitched Circle' die. I used a Marianne 'cArt-Us Lacé' die, which cuts and embosses, to mat and layer the image. The bottom green panel is cut with a Memory Box 'Stitched Country Border' die. The embossing folder is Darice 'Basket Weave'.
I would like to join in the following challenges:
A great card Liz - love the design and the cute Woodware stamp.

Get well wishes to your brother Liz. I love the card you've made for him. That's a fun image and I love the lace die. I remember the days of lace stencils and craft knives. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteLacé stencils/templates and a craft knife was how I first got into cardmaking many years ago. I saw it being demonstrated at a craft fair, I bought a couple of templates and a craft knife .........and got hooked. It's so much easier with dies! x
DeleteThe colors are fantastic together, bright, yet still very masculine. Love that embossing combined with the medallion, and what a cute image, perfect for the occasion you need. Good work!!!Best wishes, too, for a good recovery. Enjoy your time away from WiFi!. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteFab colours and embossing, lovely card :o) Hugs, Lisa x
